My passion is combining styles with intention. For example, when a bride is getting ready I will most likely act as a fly on the wall for most of the morning. I want her raw interactions with her sweet bridesmaids. I want her to read her letter from the groom without interruption. However, if I notice there is a calm moment and beautiful lighting by a window, I will ask the bride if she wants to step next to the window for a quick moment.

I want to use my photography knowledge to set up photos that will make you feel breath taking. However, I will never curate or direct your entire day.

I also believe that classic portraits and documentary photos are best when working in tandem through a collection. When your great, great grandkids peek through your wedding album, I want the classic shots where they can see your faces clearly.
However, I also want the natural ones of the stolen kisses, uncontrollable laughter, little hand squeezes, and other authentic and unprompted interactions.

You shouldn’t have to choose between one style or the other and that’s why I won’t make you.

First and foremost, you should wear what makes you feel confident. Second, when you book feel free to request an outfit guide! I will send you info and opinions on what would complement your location and the photos we are producing. However, my suggestions are just that. Don’t get stuck on them and let it stress you out. Wear something that you feel comfortable and stunning in.

One thing I like to do (feels silly but works) is try on multiple outfits and record myself in them. I will set up selfie mode on my phone and dance around for a moment. Whichever outfit I didn’t have to tug at to make fit comfortably and whichever I thought looked best on camera, is the winner!

Don’t know where to start? When in doubt, bring the neutrals out! They are truly timeless. No matter what styles are in or out, your neutral fits will complement anything when framed around your house.

However involved you invite me in to be. I do require a planner or at minimum, a day of coordinator, for weddings that I cover. I find that photographing a wedding requires me to wear too many hats, if there is not someone else present for those jobs. It henders me from producing my best work, and on your wedding day you deserve my best.

With that said; if you need recommendations, a timeline, or are just excited to share an idea or vision for the day, I will not be limiting you to one phone consultation phone call! I’m a people pleaser, lol. I’ve been told that I am a reflection of what is needed. If you are a ball of excitement on your big day, I will say “slaaayyyy” to everything and hype you up! If you are quiet and stressed, I will probably come across as quieter and will do my best to give you peace and encouragment through the day that everything is going beautifully. Whatever, you need in a friend/photographer that day, I will read the room and be her for you.

You have two options here!
First, simple and sweet. If you have a fiance who doesn’t love being in front of the camera, don’t stress. The first one is a super simple hour long session. This includes, one outfit and one hour of photography, so there is not much to stress over.

The second option is for my photo lovers! This is a two hour long session with two looks. The vision is to capture one hour that is totally you two and the second hour typically includes an elevated look. For example, we could go get snuggly in a coffee shop or create a picnic in the park and then we could follow it up with a suite and dress, strutting downtown or wherever you’d like!

I am a trendy girl through and through and I am SO excited that film photos are getting the appreciation that they deserve. With that, I have decided that it’s best to offer “film inspired” edits. This allows me to have the peace of mind, knowing that the photos will turn out perfectly, without switching between multiple camera bodies all day. - I highlight a few photos from each part of the day that have a retro feel and create a new album within your collection for your “film inspired moments.”

Absolutely! I am based in Raleigh, NC but have been flown all over the U.S. to photograph weddings + I have visited seven other countries, so I am decently well versed in the travel world!
In fact, I love doing it so much that if you’re wedding is in one of my dream locations, I will photograph your wedding for free and only require travel accommodations!
