Gentle prompts and natural posing so you never feel stiff or awkward Direction for hands, posture, and movement (without over-posing) Thoughtful attention to light, composition, and key details A small number of refined portraits that feel elevated and classic.

Editorial moments usually happen during the couple portraits, family formals, and wedding party photos. Here we are looking for a few intentional detail-focused moments.

Documentary Photography- Unscripted. Emotional. Real. This is where I step back. I observe instead of interrupt I photograph moments as they unfold naturally I prioritize emotion, movement, and connection over perfection I allow the day to breathe without constant adjustments This means your veil may not be laying perfectly a dress strap might twist during a hug, hair may fall loose while you’re laughing and that’s okay, because those moments are honest.

I believe your time together is more important than pausing every moment to fix every detail. I will always use my best judgement to determine when a good time to step in is, so that you feel your best, and when the best time to take a step back is, so you can be present with your guests. I won’t pull you away from a conversation, a laugh, or a quiet moment just to make things look flawless.

We will focus on a few key portrait moments where details are intentional and guided. Then, for the majority of the day, I will document what actually happens. You’re not asked to perform — you’re invited to be present. The result feels like a visual story instead of another dreaded to-do list. Your gallery will feel classy, lived-in, emotional, and timeless — the kind of images that feel more meaningful with time.

A loving note: While I strive to make photos perfect, I will not sacrifice perfect moments and interactions with loved ones to capture them. If you’re looking for every single image to be perfectly staged, meticulously adjusted, and completely controlled — I may not be the photographer for you.
